Privacy Policy
This website (mprep.info) collects, processes and stores the following personal data:
- If you contact us via email regarding business matters (or we respond to your email) and if the email contains personal data, the personal data in the email itself (which includes your email address, any personal data embedded into the email’s contents and, depending on the configuration of your email client and service, your IP address) will be stored and processed in order for us to be able to respond (e.g. by sending an email back, deleting your email, etc.). Due to the nature of arbitrary communication initiated by a 3rd party, the legal basis (or bases), how the data is processed and the retention period depend on the specific email and / or conversation and is determined on a case by case basis. Here are some (but not all) common cases:
- If receiving your email (which contains personal data) requires us to comply with national or EU law, the legal basis for processing is legal obligation. The information is retained for as long as the appplicable laws require us to do so.
- If you are entering into or already have a contract with us and your personal data is involved in fullfilling the contract, the legal basis for processing is contractual obligation. The information is retained until both contractual obligations and legal obligations no longer require us to have access to the personal data.
- If your personal data is needed for us to pursue our legitimate interests (e.g. responding to your questions about our services, preventing fraud, maintaining computer security, preparing for anticipated legal action, etc.), the legal basis for processing is legitimate interests. The data is kept for only as long as it is necessary to pursue our legitimate interests.
mprep.info also relies on 3rd party service providers (data processors) who collect, process and / or store your personal data. Here’s a list of those providers:
- Netlify, Inc (link to more info about Netlify’s personal data processing). As you browse mprep.info, Netlify (a.k.a. Netlify, Inc) collects and stores website access logs (which include IP addresses). This data is stored for up to 30 days. The data processing is necessary for the purposes of Netlify and mprep.info to pursue legitimate interests. Specifically, the data is used by Netlify for maintaining mprep.info’s and Netlify’s security (e.g. protecting against DOS attacks) as well as to monitor, identify and fix availability issues related to serving web pages (e.g. issues with Netlify’s ability to serve web pages to certain mprep.info users). Your personal data may be transferred to countries that are not subject to EU GDPR. In such cases, the data is protected by EU GDPR’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Cloudflare, Inc (link to more info about Cloudflare’s personal data processing). As you browse mprep.info, Cloudflare (a.k.a. Cloudflare, Inc) collects and stores website access logs (which include IP addresses, system configuration information, and other information about traffic to and from mprep.info). This data processing is necessary for the purposes of Cloudflare and mprep.info to pursue legitimate interests. Specifically, the data is used by Cloudflare for maintaining mprep.info’s and Cloudflare’s security (e.g. protecting against DOS attacks) as well as to monitor, identify and fix availability issues related to serving mprep.info’s web pages (e.g. issues with Cloudflare’s ability to serve web pages to certain mprep.info users). Most personal data is stored for up to 90 days but a small fraction of collected personal data (approx. 1%) may be stored for up to 12 months. Your personal data may be transferred to countries that are not subject to EU GDPR. In such cases, the data is protected by EU GDPR’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Proton Technologies AG). If you send an email via a non-Protonmail email account or receive an email response from us to your non-Protonmail email account, Protonmail automatically scans the emails in order to pursue its legitimate interests. Specifically, emails are scanned to detect and filter out spam and prevent abuse of Protonmail’s services. The data from these scans is stored for a very short period of time, as considered necessary and proportionate by Protonmail’s teams to achieve their purposes (anti-abuse and spam detection). In addition, all emails are also processed and stored to provide mprep.info the aforementioned ability to read and respond to your messsages. The retention period for this data depends on the nature of communications (e.g. until contractual obligations have been fullfilled, until legal obligations have been fullfilled, until it’s no longer needed to pursue legitimate interests, etc.). Your personal data may be transferred to countries that are not subject to EU GDPR. In such cases, the data is either transferred to a country whose protections are deemed adequate by the EU or are protected by EU GDPR’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
